The Singing Crusaders include all the students in the fifth and sixth grades at Lincoln Christian School. In the past, they have sung with the Lincoln Symphony Orchestra, the Hastings Orchestra, at three Nebraska Music Educators Conventions, the Association of Christian Schools International convention as well as various school concerts.
The Singing Crusaders are directed by Phil Boehr, who is in his 40th year of teaching at the school. He believes that anyone of any age can learn to sing. The Singing Crusaders are taught that music is a gift from God to be used to bring Him glory and that singing brings joy to one's own heart and to the heart of God. Gloria, in excelsis deo!
The Singing Crusaders are accompanied by Mrs. Marilee McPherson.
